As I'm sure you're already aware, the name "Acquarelle" is taken to mean quite literally "transaprent water colours in pastel shades". This is a form of painting that was known to the Egyptians but has only been in Europe for the past two hundred years. This hosiery is a perfect depiction of this word. The delicate, floral petals on the print are of different pastel shades and look wonderful against the background of the opaque tights.
